SCHEDULE: Our year consists of 32 weeks, beginning the week right after Labor Day. Orientations are held on the Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday before Labor Day. We take off Thanksgiving week, two weeks off at Christmas, the week of Presidents' Day in February and the week of Patriots' Day in April.
Fall Semester: Sept 8-Dec 18 (Thanksgiving break the week of Nov 24-27)
Spring Semester: Jan 5 - May 21 (Spring breaks the week of Feb 15-19 and Apr 19-23)
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 2020-2021: Not knowing what the distancing guidelines may be in August, we have created a schedule that will allow us to distance and still have in-person classes. You will note several classes will be online only. We have dropped a few that require close contact among students. FOR MOST, we expect either to meet every week in the building when we have space, or have classes meet bi-weekly in the building and bi-weekly online with the tutor. The details will not be available until we know what the guidelines are in August, but please keep flexibility in mind when registering. Our goal is to be 'in-person' as much as possible, but to follow distancing guidelines, including having fewer classes and students in the building at the same time. We understand that this is not ideal, but not much is in these unusual days.
If unscheduled days off occur (emergencies, snow days, etc.), we will either conduct them online on those days or make them up at the end of the year. Scroll down for the schedule of classes (located on Registration Form below).
FEES: A $9.75 per hour fee is charged for each class. Because months differ in number of weeks, the hourly fee has been divided among the nine months of our school year and averaged, for a standard monthly fee of $35.00 per one-hour class. The first month's tuition should be paid at the first class in September and other payments should be made on the first of the month. Please try to be prompt with payments – feel free to mail them if that is more convenient. (Address: 20 High Rock Dr., No. Attleboro, MA 02760) Checks should be made out to Good Company Tutorials or GCT. There are a few opportunities for parents to help out with various tasks in exchange for tuition; so let us know if you are interested in exploring that option.
REGISTRATION: Please take the time to read the guidelines and expectations (located here). Registration fee includes one month's tuition, which is non-refundable after the first day of classes, but will become the last month's tuition payment (December for 1st semester classes and May for all others). If classes are dropped after that, with few exceptions, tuition is expected through the end of the semester. Each class also has its own materials fee, which should be paid with registration. There is a financial saving for early registration. (In July and August, call or e-mail to check on class openings before registering, as we expect some of the classes to fill up before then.) When filling out the registration form, you will complete the first three pages for the whole family. Then print the number of pages 4, 5,and 6 that you need. For instance, if your child takes classes on Tuesday and Thursday you will have one page 4 and one page 5. If your three children take courses only in Cranston, you will have three copies of page 6 and none of pages 4 and 5. Print the registration form below and send with payment to
